02/10/2008 - PLANtoWIN Group Launches New Website After more than 6 months of effort PLANtoWIN Group Limited have replaced their old website with a new one, designed to bring them up to date, represent what they do better and also to assist more actively in their marketing efforts.

New Features: Some of the key features of the new website that you will see are: clearer simpler design, much better menu system, use of new pictures to portray old concepts, inclusion of customer list, case studies for downloads, testimonials, going public with their main success statistic - achieving an average win ration of 75% for our clients, and the new terminology "Team Action Programmes" - what PLANtoWIN Group used to call the workshop process.
Multilingual capability: Up until now the website had only been in English even though PLANtoWIN Group are present in global offices. The development of a powerful Content Management System in the Backend will make translations and uploading of foreign language versions much simpler and easier to manage.
15/08/2008 - MOD Grand Challenge CB Information Systems was on Salisbury Plain recently supporting our client Mindsheet with the entry to the MOD Grand Challenge.
The Mindsheet entry consisted of a fleet of Unmanned Ground Vehicles: buggies capable of 30mph speed armed with off the shelf security cameras and GPS to autonomously navigate to an area and detect snipers and IED's

23/03/2007 - Prototype 'Carputer' fitted in BMW CB Information Systems completed installation of the new 'carputer' project at BMW today. The prototype system which takes advantage of some of the latest technology on the market allows for full system integration of a computer within a car. The excitement of the CBIS & BMW engineers when the touchscreen first booted up was only matched by the streaming of GPS data that appeared with additional testing!
The project still has some work to go including the interface with the handsfree module to allow total handsfree control of the system but all parties involved are positive with the initial results.

19/07/2006 - Elected a Member of the British Computer Society Chris Burgess owner of CB Information Systems was today elected a Professional Member of The British Computer Society.
Established in 1957 BCS - http://www.bcs.org/ is the leading body for those working in IT. With a world-wide membership now over 50,000 members in over 100 countries, BCS is the qualifying body for Chartered IT Professionals (CITP).
Chris commented "I am extremely happy to be elected as a professional member. CB Info Systems works hard to ensure that it follows best practises & BCS continues to invest heavily in developing and delivering effective member services that IT practitioners value and use."

The picture on the right is the AC Wilgar team at the Grosvenor House Hotel shortly after winning the highly prized Domestic Heating Installer of the Year award at the H&V News Awards for 2006!

15/05/2006 - The development team expands again! We welcome a new addition to the development team in the form of Jerome Richard. Jerome brings a high level of skill in multi platform development languages and fantastic communication and project management skills.
20/04/2006 - New Staff at CBIS Adrian Hodsgon joined the development team at CB Information Systems today. Adrian brings with him experience in Microsoft Technologies applied to developing systems in the telecoms industry.

01/04/2006 - CB Information Systems expands to new offices In order to provide a better service to clients by accommodating additional staff and hardware in a fixed location, we are pleased to announce an expansion to new offices based within the Innovation Centre in York.
York science park is an established business community, with over 1200 people currently working on the park within 85 different companies, it's the place to see and be seen.
Providing established support services the park, together with the University of York, stimulates a mechanism for the identification, appraisal and selection of innovative pharmaceuticals, life sciences, computer science, electronics and healthcare with the aim of progressing their success and business development.
